Bald Eagle

One very cold January day a visitor was spotted observing the comings and goings at the Dixon Bros., Inc. corporate office and terminal in Newcastle Wyoming. The Bald Eagle in the photos spent most of the day perched upon the top of the power pole.
The bald eagle pictured appears to be at least 5 years old. Juvenile bald eagles have a brown body with irregular white plumage. The adult bald eagle will have the distinctive white head and white tail feathers with a dark brown body.
